Started with the hot and sour soup which was OK. The Cantonese chow mein was quite good and was a generous portion. The sizzling beef plate was tasty with good amounts of beef. Service was attentive. I believe paying cash gets you a 5% discount

Had some time to pass and stopped in for a quick meal. The atmosphere has not changed to me over the years. Service is super awesome, and food was so tasty. We had 1 serving of pork with crispy skin, mixed veg with chicken, and small white rice. Small sake on ice was presented. Server was friendly and good knowledge of menu. 100% recommend a d next time will do dim sums.

Carts come out quick and full of small dishes. There is great variety of dishes and from what I've tried they were all good. I wish I had room in my stomach to try them all. Wait staff were attentive, clearing out empty dishes and replacing our dirty plates with new ones. The staff were all friendly and even though they were all wearing masks you can tell they were smiling. Before being seated we were asked for our photo ID and proof of vaccinations. Tables were nicely spaced out. You don't feel overly crowded. Overall my experience dining at Emerald is one that I would definitely recommend for dimsum...it was fantastic. UPDATE: 2 years since visiting after COVID lockdown days and this place hasn't changed. Still delivering great service and food. The servers were all cheerful and willing to help us. The dishes came out on carts and provided a numerous selection of delicacies. The crab claws are huge. Everything was fresh and tasty, not rubbery like I had at a restaurant a day before I came here. Prices are reasonable too.

I know a lot of reviews on here said that this place is overpriced but the prices make sense for what they’re serving — my family came here for my grandmas birthday dinner and we all loved it! The prices are pretty typical for an authentic ethnic restaurant and the quality is honestly worth more. For context, we are Chinese and found the food very authentic. The staff were super kind and the food was delicious. Also the automatic tip applied to the bill was pointed out to us which was kind but it also honestly saved us the trouble of calculating our own tip (we always tip our servers and you should too!). Overall a great experience coming from a Chinese family, try it out!!

I have lived in Mississauga for 40 years and have watched how Emerald Restaurant bloom and stand strong against all challenges to maintain its excellence as a top-notch Chinese restaurant , not only in Mississauga, but among the numerous competitors in Richmond Hills, Markham, and Scarborough. While most restaurants nowadays , big or small, have cut down on the use of important spices and herbs such as green onions, gingers etc just to save penny cost , the chefs here garnish and season all dishes to a very high quality. Authentic, succulent dishes were deliciously prepared and rightly presented. The premises are spacious, clean, cosy, and customers are showered with polite and friendly service. Just wonderful! Many local customers would go all the way to Richmond Hill to look for a decent meal. Why bother!? Here in Mississauga, we have one of the best in Cantonese cooking ! Kudos to the first class chefs there for keeping up with the excellence of genuine and authentic traditional Cantonese cuisine despite the fierce competition in the gastronomic world; and to the Manager Jessica who has led the enthusiastic and friendly service team all these years to maintain a warm and friendly vibe. Well done ! Will now station there for Cantonese dim sum and dinners. No other places in Mississauga is replaceable .

The food is really good. Hands down best Chinese cuisine I’ve had in Mississauga. It’s made on order and not mass produced so it’s very fresh. The space is very large but quite dated. Sometimes part of the space is demarcated and used for events and the noise can be heard when dining but if you’re not looking for a fine dining experience then it’s not a big deal.

Incredible restaurant with high quality Chinese dishes, including Peking duck and roasted pork. The dim sum here is decent The service is good; the staff are fast and friendly, but they can also be funny It takes me almost 2 hours to drive here but I still ate here with my family at least 20 times and if not, then more. I 100% recommend eating here. It's worth every penny Here's what we got today: 1. Seafood soup 2. Steamed chicken 3. Roast duck skin in thin bread wrap 4. Rock salt shrimp 5. Roast duck diced in cabbage wrap 6. Tofu dessert

It's been a while since coming here, but I was in the area and was craving dim sum for lunch. COVID destroyed the dim sum cart service and is sadly missed, but all the same options were available. Service was prompt and accurate! The quality and speed were on point! Admittedly, I did not look closely at my bill to see if gratuity was already added as I included a tip in my total. As always, I would definitely return for quality!
